Fostercareagent is part of Family Services, a 'not for profit' independent company.
Fostercareagent is supported by qualified social workers with many years of experience working in Fostering and Adoption.
As fostering social workers we experienced the daily frustration of trying to find and maintain Foster care placements for children and young people within a shrinking pool of Foster carers.
A major problem was that the foster carers we worked with often felt undervalued and not listened to and as a consequence, gave up fostering.
After looking closely at the problem we created Fostercareagent, the only independent and free service in the UK available to approved foster carers who want to transfer fostering agencies.
